Supporting Kingdom Eighties Mobile with Pre-registration and Pre-Order campaigns on Apple and Android

With the upcoming mobile launch of Kingdom Eighties, Raw Fury were recommended our services.
With a fast turn around of two weeks, we worked closely with the Raw Fury team to plan and activate campaigns oriented around two Pre-Launch goals:
Pre-registrations on Android, and Pre-Orders on Apple.
Along our expertise across mobile store ads, Raw Fury needed a team that could proactively change and optimise the campaigns throughout the leadup to launch.
Taking into account the previous strategy, we worked closely with Raw Fury to design an effective media strategy across the two very different campaigns. With a focus on Pre-Registration, Android was going to have a much higher conversion rate and user journey, whilst Apple Pre-Orders would take a lot more to drive a complete conversion to purchase.
Over the course of the week long campaign we optimised the keyword, regions and targeting of the campaigns through creative and data driven decision making, leading to an in-platform Optimisation Score of 98%!
With over 7,000 store visits, and a conversion rate of 30%, the campaigns delivered a strong result towards Raw Fury's goals.
Android Pre-Registration campaigns was a huge success, driving over 2,000 users to register to be notified with e-mails and push notifications on the games launch and any successive sales.
Apple Ads however was a difficult platform to drive conversions in. The user journey and limited ability to control what variables that audiences were exposed to, meant that we reduced spend to optimise performance elsewhere.
This was a great example of how restrictive and careful spending, honest communication and proactive changes from our team ensured that Raw Fury allocated their budgets to the best performing channels.
