The Worldwalker Team were looking to launch their first DLC for Wildermyth, the Armors & Skins expansion pack. They wanted to create awareness for the new DLC but also understand what audiences were buying their game and get setup for a second larger launch this year.
We were brought in a week before the DLC dropped, and within a short time frame got to know the Developers and Product in order to best understand how to approach marketing Wildermyth.
We set up the Worldwalker Games’ platform access, educating the team and enabling them independently set up campaigns themselves in the future. We invested their marketing budget across core platforms Facebook, Reddit, YouTube and TikTok, generating over 6.6m ad views as well as driving over 25k users to the Steam store page.
We stayed on top of our audience targeting, making sure to optimize further into areas which were seeing the strongest performance and moving budget away from areas of low engagement, and generated key reports for the end of the campaign to give Worldwalker Games insight into what audiences reacted best to their product.
The Wildermyth team sold 15,000 units during this campaign and were extremely happy with the results. Bringing them insight into the world of Digital Marketing enabled us to help expand their reach and drive core success for their product.
